The ALLEGRETTO WAVE Excimer Laser is the next step in LASIK technology for Denver, Colorado, because each procedure is customized to the map of each individual eye. Prior to surgery, a patient has a wavefront exam that determines the uniqueness of each patient’s eye. Topographical maps are used to determine the steepness of the cornea. With Wavefront, this unique eye mapping determines how light is entering your eye. This allows the ALLEGRETTO WAVE Excimer Laser to apply a beam to a specific pattern unique to each eye. Applying a virtual wavefront map on the eye significantly improves myopic, hyperopic or astigmatic vision as well as the quality of vision such as contrast, sharpness and perception.
